Soon, I'll have some new mixes online. Until then, I have three old ones on SoundCloud and one additional chill one on Mixcloud.
There are a bunch of public playlists on my Apple Music profile. Honestly, these need some work and organization, and I'm putting this here as pressure to clean them up.
Heavy Rotation:
I'm blown away by the track Gabriella by GiGi FM. Her most popular track, and with good reason. Energetic, and accessible techno with a piano accompaniment that fits so well. Recently saw her DJ at a 12 midnight–12 noon party—shout-out to Another Castle.
Previously:
Check out Barker's new album, Stochastic Drift. Chill yet victorious, sunny, and cerebral. Masterfully develops the concepts established in Debiasing and Utility. "Reframing" unlocks something in my brain; most music makes you anticipate its next movement, but this makes me crave the coming notes in a new way. I only wish it were longer.
I also really loved the mix he did for RA. In the attached interview is one of the most insightful things I've heard said about $current_times, responding to "What's one social or political cause you want the world to pay more attention to?".
