Work

Still job hunting. Pretty bad time to be laid off, with *gestures vaguely at world*. Pretty happy living in DTLA, but every time I get two interviews deep for a position in the valley or Orange County I have to consider what it would be like to move.

Sorry it's taking so long to upload mixes; I'm still being too much of a perfectionist. I at least have a solid recording setup now, and I've streamlined my new music workflow too. Things are moving!

I don't have many plans for shows coming up. Let me know if there's anything you think I'd enjoy. I'm considering NIN or Air in September but they're both a bit pricey or sold out. Also Future Ruins Festival in November. Reznor & Ross!

This thing and the internet

Perhaps unsurprisingly, work on this website has slowed down now that it exists. I've actually been writing quite a bit behind the scenes without publishing, but you know how the last 10% takes as long as everything else combined.

I keep wanting to post more about my life online, being more visible to my friends and acquaintances. My thoughts on the topic are complex. Does anyone actually use social media (like, posting) to be social, or is it just 100% messaging platforms now?
