Still job hunting. Pretty bad time to be laid off, with *gestures vaguely at world*. Pretty happy living in DTLA, but every time I get two interviews deep for a position in the valley or Orange County I have to consider what it would be like to move.

I’m trying to get a bit more serious about DJing. It’s funny how I find it so easy to DJ at a party but Recording A Mix, setting it in stone, is quite difficult. Something about the permanence? Still nailing down my workflow for going from “I want to play this song” → it’s in my library, tagged, in playlists, on both my iPad and USBs.

Making this website. I did all the design and code myself, without any templates or generators, just a little rubber ducking facilitated by Claude. It has been really fun, especially since I have the free time. Highly recommend it if you’re even a bit techy.

I keep wanting to post more about my life online, being more visible to my friends and acquaintances. My thoughts on the topic are complex. Instead I’m writing here.
